Medical Specialisation Scholarships – Fully Funded

The Nautilus Foundation is excited to announce the availability of a fully funded scholarship dedicated to supporting a Maldivian citizen interested in advancing their medical education through specialisation.

This scholarship provides complete financial support, including monthly stipends, tuition fees, return flights, medical insurance, and visa processing costs for the selected applicant.

Our foundation prioritises enhancing medical human resources, particularly encouraging those seeking specialised medical training.

Criteria

  • The applicant must be a Maldivian citizen.
  • The study programme must fall within a specialisation field listed on the National Skills Shortage List.
  • The university offering the study programme must be located in one of the following countries: Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Nepal, the Philippines, Bangladesh, India, or Sri Lanka.
  • The applicant must successfully pass the selection interview.
  • The study programme must not have commenced or be ongoing at the time of application.
  • The applicant must not be on paid leave or receiving any other scholarship.
  • The applicant must not have previously received a scholarship from The Nautilus Foundation.
  • The applicant must have obtained a university placement letter and meet the admission requirements of the institution where the scholarship is to be undertaken.

Required Documents:

  • Copies of National ID Card and Passport
  • Placement letter from the institute
  • Course fee structure
  • Receipts of any payments made to the institute
  • Certified true copies of certificates and transcripts of previous qualifications
  • Work experience letter
  • Letter from the last employer (or notice of termination) confirming the applicant's leave status (paid or unpaid)
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV) outlining work history, responsibilities, and research experience (if applicable)
